I see trees - Literally!

I was in NY last week and while hanging out with my agent, we both stumbled upon this beautiful crystal tree lamp at Bizhan Home NY. Normally, I would stay away from something this delicate and elaborate. But I was drawn to it like a moth to the light!

I guess it’s not only me that is drawn to nature-inspired elements. World class designer Eero Aarnio launched The Tree by Martela, a space divider made of techno-recyclable polyethylene, at the Milan Furniture Fair this year. And last year, Javier Mariscal designed Alma, a injection-molded polypropylene chair for Magis Me Too Collection.

Also at the Milan Furniture Show, Driade featured Shamadan, a tree-like candleholder made of brass designed by Mann Singh.

Now everywhere I turn, I see trees!
